This syrup is not made in the traditional way. It was not cooked, so all the ingredients taste very fresh and pronounced. The sweetness comes from the honey base, to which was added freshly pressed ginger juice, lime juice, Sichuan pepper and a touch of see salt, for a mouth watering result.
