The Pisco Sour

What is Pisco? Pisco is a spirit produced in Chile and Peru. Like brandy, it is distilled from fermented grape juice. Unfortunately, these two countries still argue about who was first to invent Pisco and the popular Pisco Sour cocktail. However, it seems like the oldest recorded recipe of the Pisco Sour originates from Lima, Peru.



  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the Vegan foamer, Simple syrup, Sudachi juice and Pisco
  2. Add Ice
  3. Shake vigorously
  4. Strain, with a cocktail strainer, into a Lowball glass or Cocktail coupe 
  5. Garnish with Lime zest and 3 drops of Angostura bitters on top of the foam
